At the same time, several airlines recently announced that they have reached agrounding compensation agreement with Boeing. Ten months after grounding, the 737MAX recently exploded due to a designflaw. On January 5, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that aserious problem was discovered when reviewing the revised 737MAXsoftware. The two key lines of the 737MAX were too close to each other, resulting in a short circuit. If the pilot does not respond correctly, theplane may crash. In response, Boeing said: "We are working closelywith the Federal Aviation Administration and other regulatory agencies toconduct appropriate analysis. It is too early to speculate whether this willcause any design changes."
